Introduction

Both established in 1920, the two companies which comprise the Bodin Group now employ more than 60 people in designing and manufacturing pumps for the water treatment and food processing industries.

The group has more than 80 years experience in the innovative design and manufacture of pumping equipment tailored to the needs of its principal customers.

The Bodin Group's Head Office, with office space of 500 m2 and workshops measuring 3,500 m2 is situated on a plot of land of about 70,000 m2 (or over 17 acres) some 200 km south of Paris on the A10 motorway, or just 60 minutes by train.

The other company which comprises part of the Bodin group is Pompes Mengin whose premises boast office space of 450 m2 and wokshops of 5,000 m2 on a site of 30,000 m2 (or 7.5 acres) just 100 km south east of Paris on the A6. Since they were founded both companies which comprise the group have been located in the Central Loire Valley, in the heart of the famous "Châteaux de la Loire" region - the seat of the Kings of France.

The Bodin Group exports more than 30 % of its products into various countries worlwide either via a network of local associated companies or directly by the Bodin group according to the customers'needs.

In France the Bodin Group is a member of the Association of French Pump and Valve Manufacturers (AFPR), and more widely is a member of "Europump".

Pompes Mengin has ISO 9001 certification while Pompes Bodin is accredited 3A.
